Dr. Jennifer Sloppy Joins the Group as a Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr. Jennifer Sloppy has joined the group as a postdoctoral research associate. She received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, where she was advised by Drs. Beth Dickey and Digby Macdonald and completed a dissertation titled, “Anodization Mechanism and Properties of Bi-Layer Tantalum Oxide Formed in Phosphoric Acid.”

Dr. Sloppy will study multiferroic materials and assist in the development of novel in situ TEM instrumentation.
